Cossatot A Frame is a luxury home base for the Adventurous. Located only minutes from the Cossatot River, situated on secluded 10 acres covered with trees, trails, and views. This unique build is set apart by the luxury details such as the bedding, spacious decks, private upper room and deck, roomy bathrooms. Cossatot A Frame is tucked away between the Ouachita Mountains and Cossatot River. It is located less than 30 miles from Mena, AR and only 50-55 miles from Hochatown. Pets welcome $55 The A Frame is 2 story, with 2 large decks for gathering and viewing nature, sun-sitting, leaf peeping or relaxing! The upstairs has a spacious bedroom with 2 full size beds, a sitting area complete with coffee pot and coffee-you don't even have to go to the kitchen downstairs. The bathroom has a shower/tub combination and double sinks, and open shelving. The downstairs is the central gathering area, with a full, complete kitchen. The downstairs bedroom has a queen size, super comfy mattress, large full bathroom with shower/tub combination, double vanities and open shelving for ease of access for towels and extras you might need. The downstairs kitchen and living area are combined with easy access to the outside deck. The only access to upstairs is by the staircase outside, thus providing the upstairs guests a more secluded experience. You will have access to the whole A Frame and 10 acres of forest complete with walking trails. And soon the remodeled barn- we ask you don’t go in there now for your own safety! I do not live on the property but am only a few minutes away. Feel free to message me with any needs you have! We are a friendly, rural community. You will be set on 10 walkable, forested acres. Please note, we consider our area a sanctuary for bird, pollinators, wildlife as well as native flora. You will not see manicured grasses and lawns, we keep things neat and safe while providing plenty for nature too. Being rural, we are limited on grocery stores, so we recommend bringing groceries. We do have a local Dollar General that has some basics. Please be aware, you are in nature! When out walking the property, please be aware of your surroundings, watching for snakes in the warmer months. We do not recommend swimming/wading in the pond. We are in a remote rural area, we do have limited groceries at the local Dollar General. Please bring food with you if you want to cook in house! Also, we are a wet county, but you need to purchase alcohol in either Mena, AR or DeQueen, AR as we do not a a local place that sells yet. TV/WiFi Information~We are expecting to be connected to high speed fiber in 3 months (May) We do not have wifi or internet as of opening. To use the TV, you will have to connect to your phone as a hot-spot. Depending on service provider, phone service is spotty. You will notice there are remnants from a farm past~we have worked extensively to clean up the more public areas but have much left to do. Thank you for your overlook of the mess!!
